About the Doctor

G. Frederick Siersma, DDS, MS

Since 1974, Dr. G. Frederick Siersma has been providing families with exceptional orthodontic care. Highly educated, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in June 1965 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 1969, both from the University of Michigan. Dr. Siersma continued on to earn a Master of Science and Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics in June 1971 from Loyola University of Chicago. After graduating, Dr. Siersma served in the United States Air Force from September 1971 to September 1974, practicing orthodontics.

To stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology of orthodontics, Dr. Siersma maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, Colorado Association of Orthodontists and the Colorado Summer Orthodontic Meeting.

To give back to his professional community, Dr. Siersma has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthodontics in the Orthodontic Department at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry since 2000. He has also served as the past president of the Denver Chapter of the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and as the treasurer of the Colorado Summer Orthodontic Meeting.

In his personal life, Dr. Siersma enjoys photography, bicycling, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and traveling.
